The Community Blessing Box Ministry at Calvary Baptist Church exists to help provide basic necessities to individuals and families in our community who may be facing difficult circumstances.
We believe that as Christians, we are called not only to share the Gospel with others, but also to show the love of Christ through our actions and willingness to help those in need.
“But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.”

Give What You Can. Take What You Need.
The Blessing Box is stocked with non-perishable food and personal hygiene items that are available to anyone in our community who has a need.
Items that can be donated include:
- Canned food
- Box meals
- Shampoo
- Toothpaste
- Deodorant
- Soap
- Toothbrushes
- Other non-perishable food and personal hygiene items
Donations may be placed in the Blessing Box located outside the east side of our fellowship hall. The box is accessible to those who may have a need.
A Simple Way to Show Christ’s Love
Sometimes a small act of kindness can make a great difference in someone’s life. God’s Word reminds us that our faith should be demonstrated through the way we care for others.
“But whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?”

And Jesus taught us:
“For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink…”

We invite our church family and our community to give when you can and take what you need. Together, we can be a blessing to those around us and demonstrate the love of Christ in a practical way.
